
Meet Iqo! A graceful young female, who enjoys her independence and climbing tall trees.
Iqo is in Forest School at Nyaru Menteng after arriving exhausted and dehydrated at the age of 12 months. Iqo had been kept as a pet and fed an unhealthy diet. Iqo is now flourishing and her love for exploration is unmatched.

Iqo is best friends with Rumba, a younger orangutan, who often clings to Iqo for comfort and companionship.

Iqo is already quite the teacher, often encouraging Rumba to climb high into the tree tops and teaching her how to move from tree to tree and build nests.

Iqo loves to explore and even when she comes down for snacks, she will take them straight back up to the canopy.
