Can I gift-aid my new and/or historical donations to BOS UK?

Yes absolutely, if donating through our website clicking the gift-aid box will allow us to retroactively apply gift-aid to all past donations as well. If you wish to update us on a previous donation and add gift-aid then please email us at: hello@bos-uk.org. Alternatively, if you would like to remove gift aid from your account then again please let us know at hello@bos-uk.org.

Can I donate stocks or through a Donor Advised Fund?

Yes, we can accept stock donations and regularly receive donations through Donor Advised Funds (DAFs). Please email us for more information on stock donations at hello@bos-usa.org and we can assist. For DAF’s, you or your investment manager should be able to simply find us ‘BOS USA’ to make the donation, but if you need assistance do not hesitate to reach out.

Can I donate through my corporate matching program?

Yes, we have many supporters that increase their support of our work through their corporate matching programmes. If your company uses Benevity then you can find BOS USA there, and if they use another system then you can contact us at hello@bos-usa.org and we can potentially sign up.

Can I get tax benefits/deductibles from new and/or historical donations to BOS USA?

Yes, donations to BOS USA are tax deductible as a US registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. When you make a donation you will receive a receipt, and we also provide a year end receipt for easy use during tax time. Based on IRS regulations not all donations are tax deductible however, so please consult your tax advisor or email us if you have any questions.
