Monita Overcomes Obstacles
Monita is no longer bothered by the presence of newcomers; she seems completely unaffected by their presence and remains absorbed in her treetop activities. Monita often refuses to spend time on the forest floor, even when the surrogate mothers tempt her with her favourite treats – bananas and corn. At the mere mention or sight of these lovely treats, Monita will race down to grab them, then retreat to her upper world with her hands and mouth full…
Monita will often be searching for food.
Monita can be seen practising Brachiating – a useful wild skill where she swings hand over hand across the branches
