Our orangutan needs a name logo

We rescued 3 orangutans.
You got to name one.

yet to be named banana by Indrayana
Unnamed competition by Indrayana

There was a rare opportunity to name one of our most recent rescues and we were honoured to have received so many suggestions. Thank you so much to all who participated.

Her chosen name is…

'Aiko'

This name carries the touching meaning of ‘little loved one’ in Japanese, this is the absolutely perfect name for this precious girl.

You can read our earlier story about the rescue of Aiko, Onyer and Ramangai

yet to be named by Indrayana

Thank you again, we can’t wait to share Aiko’s progress with you.
