Monita was stolen from her mother so young that she had no memory of the rainforest. She had to be introduced to the nursery playground very slowly, as the outdoor environment frightened her.

At 5 years old, Monita is growing more independent, is a great forager and nest maker. Significant, positive markers which show that a wild future beckons.
